Blue Cheese Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb boneless pork chops
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ¾ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. Cook pork in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or until done.
  2. Meanwhile, bring cream to a simmer over medium-low heat; cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until beginning to thicken, stirring constantly.
  3. Mash blue cheese. Stir half into cream, mashing and stirring until sauce is smooth. Add Worcestershire; cook, stirring constantly, 3 to 5 minutes or until sauce is thicken enough to coat the back of a smooth.
  4. Remove sauce from heat; stir in remaining half of cheese. Serve sauce over pork.

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen green beans
  • ¾ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
