Korean Beef Sloppy Joes
Sriracha Slaw
Ingredients
- ½ lb ground sirloin
- 3 Tbsp ketchup
- 3 Tbsp hoisin sauce
- 3 Tbsp water
- 2 tsp less sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 brioche buns
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Cook beef in a nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes or until browned and crumbly.
- Stir in ketchup, hoisin, water, soy sauce, oil, vinegar, and garlic to pan; cook 5 minutes or until mixture thickens.
- Meanwhile, warm or toast buns; top with beef mixture and green onion, if desired.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp less sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Sriracha hot sauce
- 2 cups shredded coleslaw
Side Dish Instructions
- Combine vinegar, soy sauce, peanut butter, lime juice, oil, and Sriracha sauce in a bowl. Add coleslaw; toss.
