Sausage Waffle Sandwiches
Fruit Salad
Ingredients
- 12 frozen waffles
- 12 fully cooked sausage patties
- 12 large eggs
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 12 slices American cheese
- 1 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Heat waffles and sausages according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, whisk eggs in a large bowl until blended. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add eggs, and cook without stirring 2 minutes. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until eggs are set. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Layer 1 slice cheese and eggs over 6 crispy waffles; top with 2 sausage patties and 1 slice cheese. Cover with remaining waffles to make sandwiches.

- 1 (2-lb) container fruit salad

- Serve fruit on the side.
