Pork, Tomato, and White Bean Stew
Hot CornbreadIngredients
- 1½ lb ground pork
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 (15-oz) cans cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (28-oz) can petite diced tomatoes
- 1 (15-oz) can tomato sauce
- 1¾ cups less sodium chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Cook pork, onion, celery, carrots, and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until pork is browned and crumbly; drain.
- Transfer to a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker. Stir in beans and remaining ingredients; cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours.

- 1 large egg
- ⅓ cup milk

- Prepare cornbread according to package directions using egg and milk.
