Creamy Italian Chicken
Broccoli and Rice Pilaf and Poppy Seed Potato Rolls

Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 (0.7-oz) envelope Italian dressing mix
- ¼ cup white wine
- 2 Tbsp less sodium chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp butter, cubed
- 4 oz cream cheese, cubed and softened
Instructions
- Place chicken in a greased 3- to 4-quart slow cooker.
- Sprinkle with dressing mix; pour wine and broth over chicken, and sprinkle with butter. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours or until chicken is done.
- Add cream cheese to slow cooker, stirring until melted.
- Serve over Broccoli and Rice Pilaf recipe.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter, divided
- ¼ cup finely chopped onion
- 1½ cups chopped fresh broccoli
- ¾ cup uncooked long grain white rice
- 1½ cups less sodium chicken broth
- 3 potato rolls
- ½ tsp poppy seeds
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt 1 Tbsp butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion; cook, stirring frequently, 3 minutes.
- Add broccoli; cook 3 minutes. Add rice; cook 1 minute.
- Add broth; bring to a boil over medium-high heat; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
- Place rolls on a baking sheet. Melt 1 Tbsp butter, and brush over rolls; sprinkle rolls with poppy seeds.
- Bake 10 minutes or until brown and toasted.
