Easy One-Pot Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • 2½ cups less sodium chicken broth
  • 1 (29-oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ½ (16-oz) pkg bow tie pasta
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook beef in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Stir in broth, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and sugar; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in pasta; cover and cook, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until pasta is tender. Season with salt and pepper, if desired; sprinkle with cheese. Let stand 1 minute or until melted.

  • 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen broccoli florets
  • 2 Tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook broccoli according to package directions. Toss with butter, garlic salt, and seasoning.
