Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg bacon
  • 3½ lb ground beef
  • 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1½ tsp pepper
  • 10 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 10 hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 10 leaves green leaf lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain.
  2. Stir together beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, and pepper in a bowl. Shape mixture into 10 patties.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill patties, covered, 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Top each patty with 1 slice cheese; let stand 1 minute.
  4. Spread mayonnaise on buns. Serve burgers on buns with lettuce, tomato, onion, and bacon.
