Herby White Wine Crab Fettuccine

Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg whole grain fettuccine
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ¾ cup white wine
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- 2 (6-oz) cans lump or white crabmeat, drained
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 (0.5-oz) pkg fresh chives, chopped
- 1 (0.5-oz) pkg fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
- Meanwhile, cook garlic and red pepper in hot oil in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add wine; cook 5 minutes or until liquid is reduced by half.
- Add half-and-half, ½ cup cheese, and salt; reduce heat, and cook 5 minutes or until thickened.
- Add pasta, crab, parsley, chives, basil, and ½ cup pasta water to skillet; toss. Sprinkle with ½ cup cheese.
