Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg angel hair pasta
- 10 slices bacon, chopped
- 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 (1-oz) envelope Ranch dressing mix
- 1 (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Meanwhile, cook bacon in a large deep skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain, reserving 2 Tbsp drippings in skillet.
- Cut chicken in half crosswise and pound to an even thickness between plastic wrap using a meat mallet. Season lightly with salt and pepper, if desired. Cook chicken in hot drippings over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or until done. Remove from skillet, and thinly slice.
- Add broth, scraping skillet to loosen browned bits. Stir in dressing mix, cream cheese, and lemon juice, whisking until blended. Add pasta, and chicken; toss. Cook until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with bacon.

- ¼ cup butter, softened
- 2 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 (16-oz) loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Stir together butter, basil, and garlic powder; spread on cut sides of bread. Place bread, cut sides up, on a baking sheet.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until toasted. Slice.
