Creamy Italian Tortellini Soup
Toasted French Bread
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground mild Italian sausage
- 1 (8-oz) container chive and onion cream cheese
- 1 (32-oz) carton less sodium chicken broth
- 2 (19-oz) cans less sodium creamy tomato soup with basil
- 1 (20-oz) pkg refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook sausage in a large Dutch oven over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain, and return to pot.
- Add cream cheese, stirring until melted. Add broth and soup; simmer over medium-low heat 10 minutes. Add tortellini; simmer 5 to 6 minutes or until tortellini are tender.
- Sprinkle servings with cheese.

- 1 (14-oz) loaf French bread
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat broiler. Cut bread in half lengthwise; place on a baking sheet. Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until toasted.
