Hot Pizza Sandwich

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup pepperoni, chopped
- 1 (24-oz) jar marinara sauce, divided
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza dough, divided
- 8 slices provolone cheese, divided
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook beef and pepperoni in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain, and return to skillet. Stir in 1 cup marinara sauce and seasoning.
- Meanwhile, roll dough into an 18- x 9-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Cut dough in half to make 2 (9-inch) squares. Press one dough square into bottom and halfway up sides of a lightly greased 9-inch baking dish.
- Arrange 4 slices cheese over dough in dish; sprinkle with 1 cup shredded cheese. Spoon beef mixture over cheeses. Top with remaining cheese slices and shredded cheese.
- Press remaining dough square over cheeses, tucking edges in around sides of dish. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting into squares. Serve with remaining marinara sauce, if desired. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
