Ingredients

  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 small cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ (24-oz) jar tomato and basil pasta sauce
  • 2 cups less sodium chicken broth
  • ½ (25-oz) pkg frozen tortellini

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Stir in pasta sauce, broth, and tortellini; bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until tortellini is tender.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 small cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 oz French bread, sliced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler. Stir together oil and garlic in a small bowl.
  2. Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet; brush with garlic oil. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until toasted.
