Tomato-Basil Tortellini Skillet
Garlic-Parmesan Bread
Ingredients
- ¾ lb ground beef
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 2 small cloves garlic, minced
- ½ (24-oz) jar tomato and basil pasta sauce
- 2 cups less sodium chicken broth
- ½ (25-oz) pkg frozen tortellini
Instructions
- Cook beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in pasta sauce, broth, and tortellini; bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until tortellini is tender.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 small cloves garlic, crushed
- 3 oz French bread, sliced
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat broiler. Stir together oil and garlic in a small bowl.
- Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet; brush with garlic oil. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until toasted.
