Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp butter, softened
  • 12 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 avocados, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg thinly sliced Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (2.52-oz) pkg fully cooked bacon

Instructions

  1. Spread butter over one side of each bread slice and place two slices in a skillet, buttered side down.
  2. Layer bread with avocado, cheese, and bacon.
  3. Top each sandwich with one slice of remaining bread, buttered side up.
  4. Grill over medium heat, flipping once, until golden brown and cheese is melted; remove and keep warm. Repeat process for remaining sandwiches.

  • 1 (8-oz) bag kettle cooked potato chips
  • 2 (16-oz) containers cantaloupe chunks

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Serve chips and melon on each plate.
