Onion Pork Roast

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 lb boneless pork shoulder roast, well trimmed
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1¾ cups less sodium chicken broth
Instructions
- Stir together flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, dry mustard, and pepper; rub over all sides of pork.
- Place pork in a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker; add onion and broth.
- Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or until pork is tender.

- 2 (8.8-oz) pkg microwaveable long grain and wild rice
- 2 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
- 2 Tbsp butter
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Prepare rice and green beans according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add nuts, and cook 5 minutes or until toasted.
- Stir in green beans, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
