Provolone and Onion-Smothered Patties
Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Broccoli

Ingredients
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup olive oil, divided
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 lb ground sirloin
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
- ¾ cup less sodium beef broth
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Toss together onion, 2 Tbsp oil, salt, and pepper on a large rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Bake 15 minutes or until tender and lightly browned.
- Meanwhile, combine beef, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoning in a bowl; shape into 6 patties.
- Cook patties in 2 Tbsp hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes per side. Add broth; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until done. Top with onions and cheese slice; cover and cook 1 minute or until melted. Serve patties with broth mixture.

- 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- ½ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Heat potatoes according to package directions.
- Steam broccoli according to package directions. Sprinkle with pepper.
