Creamy Chicken and Ham Soup
Garlic Breadsticks
Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter
- 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 (8-oz) pkg cubed ham
- ¼ cup all purpose flour
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat; add chicken and ham. Cook, stirring occasionally, until chicken is done. Add flour; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
- Gradually stir in broth and milk; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until slightly thickened. Stir in mustard, and garlic salt.
- Gradually add cheese, stirring until melted. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.

Side Dish Instructions
- Bake breadsticks according to package directions.
