Ingredients

  • 2 (8-oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough sheets 
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg Swiss cheese slices
  • 1 (14-oz) pkg lit'l smokies sausages
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 (16-oz) jar hamburger dill chips, drained
  • 1 cup Russian dressing

Instructions

  1. Unroll each crescent dough sheet and press into a 12 -x 7-inch rectangle. Cut each rectangle in half lengthwise to make 2 (12 -x 3½-inch) rectangles. Cut each rectangle into 12 (1-inch) strips.
  2. Cut cheese slices into 1-inch squares. Place 1 cheese square, 1 sausage, about 2 tsp sauerkraut, and 2 pickle slices on each dough strip; roll up. Place seam sides down on a lightly greased baking sheet. Spray generously with cooking spray.
  3. Bake 15 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Sprinkle with coarse salt, if desired. Serve with Russian dressing, for dipping.
