Candied Pecans

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Bob Evans Liquid Egg White
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 lb pecan halves
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F. Beat liquid egg white in a large bowl until soft peaks form. Gently stir in vanilla. Add pecan halves, stirring to coat.
  2. Stir together sugars, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Add coated pecans, stirring until coated with sugar mixture.
  3. Spread pecans in a single layer on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake 1 hour or until pecans are crisp. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.
