Cranberry, Proscuitto, and Brie Crescent Wreath

Clock

Ingredients

  • 2 (8-count) cans crescent roll dough
  • 1 (14-oz) can whole berry cranberry sauce, divided
  • 1 (8-oz) round Brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 (6-oz) pkg sliced prosciutto
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • ½ (0.5-oz) pkg fresh rosemary sprigs
  • ½ (0.5-oz) pkg fresh thyme sprigs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.  Separate each package of crescent roll dough into 8 triangles. Arrange triangles in a sunburst pattern on a lightly greased baking sheet, with pointed ends of the triangle facing outward, bases overlapping, and leaving an 8-inch diameter in center.
  2.  Press overlapping dough together to adhere triangles.
  3. Spread ⅔ can cranberry sauce around base of crescent dough. Top with cheese, prosciutto, and remaining cranberry sauce.
  4. Pull end points of crescent triangles over filling and tuck under dough to form a wreath (some filling should be visible). Brush dough with egg.
  5. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes. Garnish with rosemary and thyme.
