Italian Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 2½ lb chicken wings
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup less sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Combine wings, oil, oregano, garlic salt, onion powder, and cayenne pepper, tossing to coat wings.
  2. Transfer wings to a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker. Add broth. Cover and cook on LOW 6 hours.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 avocados, pitted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 bunch celery, cut into 2 inch sticks
  • 4 carrots, cut into 2 inch sticks

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except celery and carrots in a bowl; mash until combined.
  2. Serve with celery and carrot sticks.
