Caramel-Toffee-Oat Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 cups quick cooking oats
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1¼ cups cold butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 (13.4-oz) can dulce de leche
  • 1 (11.5-oz) pkg semisweet chocolate chunks
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 13- x 9-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and baking soda in a large bowl. Cut in butter using a pastry blender or two knives until mixture is crumbly; press half of mixture into prepared pan. Bake 20 minutes.
  3. Spread dulce de leche over crust. Sprinkle evenly with chocolate chunks and toffee bits. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over toffee bits.
  4. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown; let cool in pan completely before cutting.
