Jalapeño-Cheddar Smothered Patties
Garlic-Roasted Broccoli and Brown Rice

Ingredients
- 6 slices center cut bacon
- 1½ lb ground sirloin
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ cup diced pickled jalapenos
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1½ cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat 6 minutes or until crisp. Remove from skillet, reserving drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon.
- Combine beef, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Shape mixture into 6 patties. Add patties to drippings in skillet; cook 5 minutes per side or until done.
- Meanwhile, combine jalapeños, mayonnaise, crumbled bacon, chili powder, and garlic powder. Dollop mixture over patties; top with cheese. Cover, and cook 2 minutes or until cheese melts.

- 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- 3 Tbsp minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 (3.5-oz) pouches boil in bag brown rice
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss together broccoli, garlic, oil, salt, and pepper on a large rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Roast 15 minutes or until browned and tender, stirring halfway through.
- Meanwhile, cook rice according to package directions.
