Blueberry-Maple Breakfast Sausage
Lemon-Roasted Asparagus
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground pork
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup fresh blueberries
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp almond flour
- 1 tsp dried rubbed sage
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 Tbsp olive oil, divided
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except oil in a large bowl until blended. Shape pork mixture into 8 patties.
- Cook patties, in batches, in ½ Tbsp oil per batch in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes per side or until no longer pink in center. Drain on paper towels.

- 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
- ½ tsp lemon zest
- 1½ Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp garlic salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Combine all ingredients on a rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer.
- Bake 6 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender.
