Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground pork
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp almond flour
  • 1 tsp dried rubbed sage
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil, divided

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except oil in a large bowl until blended. Shape pork mixture into 8 patties.
  2. Cook patties, in batches, in ½ Tbsp oil per batch in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes per side or until no longer pink in center. Drain on paper towels.

  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • 1½ Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Combine all ingredients on a rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer.
  2. Bake 6 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender.
