Greek-Style Beef Gyros

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground sirloin
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 Tbsp salt free Greek seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 8 green leaf lettuce leaves
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
  • ⅓ cup crumbled feta cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook beef in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 6 minutes or until browned and crumbly. Add onion, Greek seasoning, and salt; cook 5 to 6 minutes or until onion is tender.
  2. Arrange 2 lettuce leaves in stacks of 4 each; fill with beef mixture, tomatoes, and cheese. Roll up. Serve with Creamy Yogurt-Cucumber Sauce recipe.

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp salt
