Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 (28-oz) can crushed tomatoes with basil
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cavatappi pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook beef, onion, and garlic in a large Dutch oven over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain, and return to pan.
  2. Stir in tomatoes, water, pasta, cream, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  3. Sprinkle servings with cheese.

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg baby carrots
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss together all ingredients on a large rimmed baking sheet. Spread in a single layer. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until vegetables are browned and tender.
