Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground sweet Italian sausage
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¾ cup quick cooking oats
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp minced fresh basil
  • 1 Tbsp minced fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • 1 (24-oz) jar marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine beef, sausage, onion, garlic, cheese, oats, ricotta, eggs, basil, parsley, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Shape mixture into 2-inch meatballs.
  2. Spray air fryer basket with olive oil cooking spray. Heat air fryer to 400°F. Place meatballs, ½-inch apart, in air fryer basket. Air fry, in batches, 10 to 12 minutes or until no longer pink in centers. Repeat with remaining meatballs.
  3. Heat marinara sauce according to package directions. Serve as dipping sauce for meatballs.
