Ingredients

  • 4 lb chicken drummettes
  • 2 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • ⅓ cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup butter

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Stir together baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a large bowl. Add wings; toss.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Spray air fryer basket with olive oil cooking spray. Arrange chicken in an even layer, ½ inch apart, in air fryer basket. Coat with olive oil cooking spray.
  3. Air fry, in batches, 15 minutes, turning every 5 minutes, until chicken is done. Repeat with remaining chicken.
  4. Meanwhile, combine wing sauce, brown sugar, and butter in a saucepan; cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Brush mixture over crispy chicken.
