Chocolate Peanut Butter Lava Cakes

Ingredients

  • ½ (4-oz) bittersweet chocolate bar, chopped
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • 2 miniature chocolate peanut butter cups
  • 1 Tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 370°F. Microwave chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until melted; whisking until blended.
  2. Whisk in sugar, egg, and yolk until well blended. Add flour; whisk until smooth. Divide three-fourths of batter among 2 lightly greased (8-oz) ramekins, reserving one-fourth of batter.
  3. Nestle 1 peanut butter cup in chocolate mixture in each ramekin. Top with remaining batter.
  4. Air fry 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are firm and centers are soft but do not jiggle.
  5. Cool 2 minutes; run a knife around edges of ramekins to loosen cakes. Invert cakes onto 2 dessert plates. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
