Havarti-Dill Chicken
Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Broccoli
Ingredients
- 2¼ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 6 oz Havarti cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup chopped fresh dill, divided
- ¾ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Cook chicken in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or until done.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour, and cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Gradually add milk, cook, stirring, 5 minutes or until thickened. Stir in cheese, 3 Tbsp dill, and garlic powder; cook until cheese melts.
- Serve sauce with chicken. Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp dill.

- 1 (32-oz) carton refrigerated mashed potatoes
- 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- ½ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Heat potatoes according to package directions.
- Steam broccoli according to package directions. Sprinkle with pepper.
