Havarti-Dill Chicken

Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 2¼ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 oz Havarti cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh dill, divided
  • ¾ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Cook chicken in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or until done.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour, and cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Gradually add milk, cook, stirring, 5 minutes or until thickened. Stir in cheese, 3 Tbsp dill, and garlic powder; cook until cheese melts.
  3. Serve sauce with chicken. Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp dill.

  • 1 (32-oz) carton refrigerated mashed potatoes
  • 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
  • ½ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Heat potatoes according to package directions.
  2. Steam broccoli according to package directions. Sprinkle with pepper.
