Lemon-Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg linguine
- 2 lb peeled and deveined large raw shrimp
- ½ tsp kosher salt, divided
- ½ tsp pepper, divided
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
- 2 (8-oz) pkg asparagus tips, cut into 2 inch pieces
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; set aside, and keep warm.
- Sprinkle shrimp with ¼ tsp salt and pepper. Cook shrimp in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes or just until done. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
- Add garlic and red pepper to skillet; cook 30 seconds. Add tomatoes and asparagus; cook, stirring, 4 minutes. Add lemon juice, parsley, and shrimp; cook 1 minute. Toss with hot cooked pasta. Stir in ¼ tsp salt and pepper.
