Layered Taco Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 (1-oz) envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 2 (16-oz) can refried beans
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 cup refrigerated salsa
  • 1 (8-oz) carton guacamole
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 (11-oz) pkg tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain, and return to skillet. Stir in seasoning, beans, cheese, and salsa. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 13 -x 9-inch baking dish.
  2. Bake 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Spread guacamole and sour cream over casserole. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, and green onions. Serve with tortilla chips.
