Ingredients

  • 12 slices bacon
  • 2 (8-oz) cans refrigerated crescent dough sheets
  • 2 (6-count) all beef hot dogs
  • 6 slices American cheese, cut in half
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 3 Tbsp everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut bacon in half. Cook bacon pieces in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels.
  2. Meanwhile, unroll each crescent dough sheet into a 12 -x 7-inch rectangle. Cut each rectangle in half lengthwise to make 2 (12 -x 3½-inch) rectangles. Cut each rectangle into thirds.
  3. Arrange one cheese slice, 2 slices bacon, and 1 hot dog on each crescent dough piece. Roll up, and place seam side down on a lightly greased baking sheet. Repeat process.
  4. Brush dough with beaten egg and sprinkle with seasoning. Bake 15 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.
  5. Meanwhile, stir together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and paprika in a bowl. Serve sauce with pastry-wrapped hot dogs for dipping.
