Dogs in a Blanket

Ingredients
- 12 slices bacon
- 2 (8-oz) cans refrigerated crescent dough sheets
- 2 (6-count) all beef hot dogs
- 6 slices American cheese, cut in half
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 3 Tbsp everything bagel seasoning
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut bacon in half. Cook bacon pieces in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels.
- Meanwhile, unroll each crescent dough sheet into a 12 -x 7-inch rectangle. Cut each rectangle in half lengthwise to make 2 (12 -x 3½-inch) rectangles. Cut each rectangle into thirds.
- Arrange one cheese slice, 2 slices bacon, and 1 hot dog on each crescent dough piece. Roll up, and place seam side down on a lightly greased baking sheet. Repeat process.
- Brush dough with beaten egg and sprinkle with seasoning. Bake 15 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.
- Meanwhile, stir together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and paprika in a bowl. Serve sauce with pastry-wrapped hot dogs for dipping.
