Apple Cider Pork Chops
Buttered Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless pork chops
- ⅓ cup apple cider
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ¼ tsp dried thyme
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Pat pork dry with paper towels. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Whisk together cider, syrup, mustard, and thyme; set aside.
- Cook chops in butter and oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat 5 minutes. turn chops, and add cider mixture to skillet. Cook over medium-low heat 4 to 5 minutes or until pork is done.
- Remove pork to a plate; cover with foil. Bring cider mixture to a simmer. Cook until slightly thickened. Spoon over pork chops.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
- 1 Tbsp butter
- ½ (24-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
Side Dish Instructions
- Steam beans according to package directions; toss with butter. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Heat potatoes according to package directions.
