Ingredients

  • 2 gallons water
  • 2 (12-oz) bottles beer
  • 2 (3-oz) boxes crawfish, shrimp, and crab boil
  • 4 lemons, halved
  • 3 onions, quartered
  • 2 heads garlic, halved crosswise
  • ½ cup kosher salt
  • ¼ cup Creole seasoning
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 2 (24-oz) bags small red potatoes, halved
  • 2 (12-oz) pkg andouille sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 6 ears corn, halved
  • 5 lb large raw shrimp

Instructions

  1. Combine water, beer, crawfish boil, lemons, onions, garlic, salt, Creole seasoning, and bay leaves in a large stockpot. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add potatoes; boil 8 minutes. Add sausage and corn; boil 5 minutes.
  2. Add shrimp; boil 3 to 4 minutes or until shrimp are done. Drain, and serve hot.
