Grilled Pizza Panini

Crispy Italian-Seasoned Fries

Ingredients

  • ¼ lb ground pork sausage
  • ½ cup pepperoni
  • 1 cup marinara sauce, divided
  • ½ (14-oz) loaf Italian bread
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage and pepperoni in a skillet over medium heat until sausage is browned and crumbly. Drain, and return to skillet. Stir in ⅓ cup marinara sauce.
  2. Cut bread loaf in half lengthwise. Layer sliced cheese over bottom half of bread. Top with sausage mixture and shredded cheese. Cover with bread top. Coat outsides of sandwich with cooking spray.
  3. Cook sandwich in a large skillet (or a panini press) over medium heat, pressing sandwich down using a heavy skillet, 3 to 4 minutes per side or until toasted and cheese is melted. Slice to serve.

  • ½ (26-oz) pkg frozen French fries
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp Italian dressing mix

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together fries, oil, and dressing mix on a large baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Bake fries according to package directions.
