Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • ⅓ cup thinly sliced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • ½ Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¾ cup less sodium beef broth

Instructions

  1. Mix beef and seasoning in a bowl; shape mixture into 2 patties. Cook patties in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until browned. Remove patties, reserving 2 Tbsp drippings in skillet.
  2. Sauté mushrooms and onion in hot drippings until tender. Add garlic; cook 30 seconds, stirring often.
  3. Add flour; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Gradually add Worcestershire and broth, stirring until smooth. Return patties to skillet; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until gravy is thickened.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ½ (24-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Heat mashed potatoes according to package directions. Stir in parsley.
  2. Cook broccoli according to package directions. Toss with garlic powder and pepper.
