Pesto-Mozzarella Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 (1-lb) ball bakery pizza dough
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (6.2-oz) jar creamy Genovese pesto
  • 1 (8-oz) ball fresh mozzarella cheese, torn
  • ½ cup pine nuts
  • ½ cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 Tbsp balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Roll out pizza dough into a 16-inch round on a greased baking sheet; prick dough all over with a fork. Brush with oil. Bake 8 minutes.
  2. Spread pesto on partially-baked crust; top with cheese. Bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until crust is golden, topping with nuts during last 3 minutes of cooking.
  3. Sprinkle with basil, and drizzle balsamic glaze. Cut into wedges to serve.
