Ingredients
- 2 (5.4-oz) ground beef patties
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 2 slices pepper Jack cheese
- 2 hamburger buns
- 1 tomato, sliced
- ½ red onion, sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 Tbsp fresh cilantro leaves
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Sprinkle patties with salt and pepper. Grill, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink.
- Top each patty with 1 slice cheese; let stand 1 minute or until melted. Grill buns, cut sides down, 1 minute.
- Serve burgers on buns with tomato, onion, avocado, and cilantro.

- ½ tsp lime zest
- 2 tsp lime juice
- 2 tsp honey
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 mango, peeled and diced
- 1 small jicama, peeled and cut into thin strips
Side Dish Instructions
- Whisk together lime zest, lime juice, honey, cilantro, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add mango and jicama; toss.
