BALT Sandwiches with Ranch Dressing

Ingredients

  • 6 slices center cut bacon, halved crosswise
  • 8 slices white whole wheat sandwich bread
  • ⅓ cup refrigerated yogurt Ranch dressing
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain.
  2. Toast bread, if desired. Spread dressing on one side of each bread slice. Top 4 bread slices with cheese, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and avocado, dressing sides up. Cover with 4 bread slices, dressing sides down, to assemble sandwiches.
