Strawberry-Peanut Butter French Toast

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp butter, divided
  • 4 slices frozen French toast, thawed
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries

Instructions

  1. Cook cream, peanut butter, and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat, whisking constantly, until sugar is dissolved and mixture is smooth. Stir in vanilla. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Melt 1 Tbsp butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add 2 slices French toast, and cook, 3 to 4 minutes per side or until browned and crisp. Repeat with remaining butter and toast.
  3. Serve French toast with peanut butter syrup and berries.
