Italian Barbecue Chicken Kabobs

Ingredients

  • 3 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1½ cups barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup italian dressing
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp minced fresh rosemary
  • 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in a large zip-top plastic bag. Stir together barbecue sauce, dressing, sugar, Worcestershire, and rosemary in a bowl. Divide sauce in half.
  2. Pour half of sauce over chicken in bag. Seal bag, and refrigerate at least 2 hours or up to 4 hours. Cover and refrigerate remaining sauce.
  3. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade, discarding marinade. Thread chicken and vegetables on metal or soaked bamboo skewers. Grill skewers, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until chicken is done, basting with remaining sauce while grilling.
