Ingredients
- 2 shallots, finely chopped
- ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro, divided
- 5 Tbsp less sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp minced ginger
- 1½ lb ground chicken
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli slaw
- 6 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Whisk together shallots, ¼ cup cilantro, soy sauce, and ginger in a large bowl. Transfer half of mixture to a second bowl.
- Add chicken and breadcrumbs to shallot mixture in one bowl; gently mix together using your hands. Shape mixture into 6 patties.
- Add slaw and ¼ cup cilantro to shallot mixture in remaining bowl; toss.
- Grill patties, uncovered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until centers are no long pink. Grill buns 2 minutes or until toasted. Serve patties on buns with slaw.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1½ lb small red potatoes, halved
- 2 shallots, sliced
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Toss together all ingredients on a large rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer.
- Roast 15 to 18 minutes or until potatoes are tender and lightly browned, stirring halfway through baking.
