Ingredients
- ¾ lb peeled and deveined, large raw shrimp
- 1 Tbsp blackened seasoning
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Sprinkle shrimp with blackened seasoning.
- Melt butter with oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp; cook 2 to 3 minutes per side or until shrimp are done. Serve with lemon wedges.

- 1 ear corn, shucked and halved
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 bell peppers, cut into 1 inch strips
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ¾ tsp garlic powder
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Boil corn in water to cover in a pot 8 to 10 minutes or until tender. Spread butter on corn.
- Meanwhile, toss together bell peppers, oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper on a greased rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until blistered and tender.
