Turkey Burgers with Garlic-Herb Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground turkey
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 head Bibb lettuce, separated into leaves
  • 1 (6.5-oz) pkg garlic herb spreadable cheese
  • 1 tomato, cut into 6 slices

Instructions

  1. Combine turkey, shallots, salt, garlic powder, pepper, flour, and egg in a large bowl. Shape into 6 patties.
  2. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill patties, covered, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink.
  3. Arrange lettuce in 6 stacks of 2 leaves each. Top with burgers. Spread cheese on burgers; top with tomato.

  • 2 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook broccoli in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, turning occasionally, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat; sprinkle with vinegar, salt, and pepper. Toss.
