Beef and Blue Cheese Sliders
Ingredients
- 2 red onions, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
- 2 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp finely chopped fresh rosemary, divided
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ⅛ tsp granulated sugar
- 2 lb ground beef
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups baby arugula
- 1 (12-count) pkg slider buns, split and toasted
Instructions
- Cook onions, covered, in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until onions are almost tender.
- Cook, uncovered, 15 minutes or until onions are browned and tender, stirring often.
- Meanwhile, stir together mayonnaise, cheese, vinegar, 1 tsp rosemary, garlic powder, and sugar in a bowl; season with salt and pepper if desired. Cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Stir together beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and 1 Tbsp rosemary; shape mixture into 12 (2-inch) patties. Cook patties, in batches, in a large skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
- Serve patties on slider buns with mayonnaise-cheese mixture, caramelized onions, and arugula.
