Cheesy Tuna Melts

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz) container deli tuna salad
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 8 (1-oz) slices whole grain bread
  • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
  • ¾ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Combine tuna salad and parsley. Top 4 bread slices with tuna salad, tomato, and cheese; cover with remaining 4 bread slices.
  2. Spread outsides of sandwiches with butter. Cook sandwiches, in batches if necessary, in a large skillet over medium-low heat 4 to 6 minutes per side or until toasted and cheese melts. Cut in half to serve.
