Sesame-Crusted Tuna
Asian Cucumber, Radish, and Carrot Salad
Ingredients
- 1 lb tuna steaks
- 1 Tbsp less sodium soy sauce, divided
- ¼ cup sesame seeds
- ½ Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp light sour cream
- 1½ Tbsp olive oil mayonnaise
- ½ Tbsp prepared horseradish
Instructions
- Drizzle fish with ½ Tbsp soy sauce. Place sesame seeds in a shallow dish; coat fish with sesame seeds.
- Sear fish in hot oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
- Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, ½ Tbsp soy sauce, and horseradish in a bowl. Serve with steaks.

- 3 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp dark sesame oil
- ¼ lb radishes, thinly sliced
- ½ lb carrots, cut into matchstick pieces
- ½ English cucumber, cut into half moons
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Side Dish Instructions
- Whisk together vinegar, honey, and oil in a bowl. Add radishes, carrots, cucumber, and parsley; toss. Chill until ready to serve.
