Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground sirloin
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1½ Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1½ Tbsp less sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Dash of ground ginger
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook beef and garlic in hot oil in a skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until browned and crumbly.
  2. Meanwhile, stir together sugar, soy sauce, oil, and ginger in a small bowl.
  3. Add sugar mixture to skillet; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with onion.

  • 2 oz rice noodles
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg snow peas
  • 1 Tbsp less sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Toss with oil.
  2. Cook snow peas according to package directions. Stir in soy sauce and sesame seeds.
