Cheesy Ham and Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • ½ (16-oz) pkg rigatoni
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg chopped ham
  • 1 cup fish shaped Cheddar crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add green beans, and cook, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle flour over green beans; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Gradually stir in milk, and cook until thickened and bubbly. Stir in cheese, thyme, and garlic powder until cheese is melted.
  4. Stir in ham and pasta. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 2½-quart baking dish.
  5. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with crackers.

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen dinner rolls
  • 3 Tbsp butter, melted

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Brush tops of rolls with melted butter. Bake rolls according to package directions.
