Horseradish-Garlic Sauce Flank Steak
Mashed Sweet Potatoes and Green Beans
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak
- ¼ tsp salt, divided
- ¼ tsp pepper, divided
- 3 Tbsp buttermilk
- 1½ Tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
- ½ Tbsp prepared horseradish
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
Instructions
- Preheat broiler. Place steak on a large rimmed baking sheet. Sprinkle with ⅛ tsp each salt and pepper.
- Broil 8 minutes or to desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes before thinly slicing across the grain.
- Meanwhile, combine buttermilk, cheese, mayonnaise, horseradish, lemon juice, garlic, and ⅛ tsp each salt and pepper. Spoon sauce over beef, and sprinkle with parsley.

- ⅛ tsp salt

- Cook potatoes according to package directions. Stir in butter until melted; sprinkle with parsley.
- Meanwhile, cook green beans according to package directions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
